For all of you that have been waiting until the beginning of the
new year to make a contribution to our cause, let us urge you to
do so now. We still have many things to accomplish this season.
Either through participating in our benefit events, or by mailing a
check or calling to give us your credit card information, you are
saying that you believe in our mission and want us to continue
providing the cultural experience for the children & recognition
for our community that we have in the past.
Please write us that check today.
Our Mission:
- To take our productions into the local schools at all grade
levels, both public and private; firm in our belief that art, like
justice should be blind as it relates to race, religion, ethnicity, or
social standing.
- To give the youth of our area interested in pursuing careers in
opera and musical theatre a solid background on which to build
their dreams as singers, musicians, and stagecraft artists.
- To encourage the support and creative energies of not only the
Como community, but also all of Northwest Mississippi in the
establishment of a strong and vital company dedicated to
quality musical theatre.
- By bringing about a better awareness, understanding and
appreciation for opera, which it's use of music, drama, dance,
and the visual arts makes it the most complex and complete art
form.
- To build on the rich musical and artistic heritage of our town.
- To enrich and enhance the lives of our audiences by offering
professional entertainment and education of the highest
standards possible.
